“The hottest spot north of Havana”, the Copacabana night club was where musicians like Harry Belafonte, the Supremes, and Carmen Miranda performed alongside superstars like Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis during its 80-year run. The club also served as a setting for several films including Goodfellas, Raging Bull, and Tootsie. And, oh yes…there’s that Barry Manilow song the club inspired.
