Established in 1963, Mr. Fables was a chain of cafeteria-style family restaurants located throughout Western Michigan known for their now-iconic “Mr. Fabulous” olive burgers and their thick, homemade batter-fried onion rings. At its peak, the chain had 17 restaurants.
