General Magic was an American software and electronics company that began as a spinoff of Apple in 1990. They developed the precursors to a multitude of technologies we use on a daily basis such as USB, software modems, small touchscreens, touchscreen controller ICs, ASICs, multimedia email, networked games, and even streaming TV. In short…they were pretty magic.
